The DeWalt DCBP 318 Powerstack battery utilises innovative 18 volt pouch cell technology and is fully compatible with all 18 volt XR battery machines and XR fast chargers, offering significantly more compact dimensions, lower weight and up to 50 % higher power development thanks to lower internal resistance compared to conventional round cell batteries with the same voltage and capacity. The flat cell design ensures efficient heat dissipation and therefore a longer service life and more charging cycles, while a robust housing, shock-proof soldered cells, minimal contact resistance and large, short-circuit-proof contacts make the battery ideal for tough construction site use. It also has no memory effect, extremely low self-discharge and always offers full control over the battery status thanks to the reliable LED capacity indicator.
