Product Description:
A battery-operated impact screwdriver with proven quality from Festool: Even heavy-duty screwdriving jobs are easily mastered with the tangential impact mechanism of the TID 18. The impact is applied in the direction of rotation and does not cause any reverse torque. This means that screwdriving work is safe and easy on the wrists. Three speed levels allow the speed to be optimised for the material to be processed. The T mode is ideal for self-drilling screws: Thanks to state-of-the-art sensors, the impact wrench recognises the transition from metal to wood - the speed is automatically adjusted. The integrated LED illuminates the work area generously. The ergonomic and compact design ensures fatigue-free and precise work even in hard-to-reach places. With a weight of only 960 grams, an outstanding ratio of lightness and power is achieved. The Festool HighPower battery with 4.0 amps is a power pack with a low weight. Weighing just 600 grams, it is 20 % lighter and 50 % more compact than the 5.2 amp battery, so even demanding work can be carried out without fatigue. The Li-HighPower cell technology makes it powerful enough for any application. The high-current resistant cells ensure an extremely long service life. The Bluetooth technology in the battery makes it easy to start the tool automatically from a mobile extractor connected to the tool (not included).
