Die Schaufel besteht aus rostfreiem Stahl, weswegen ihr auch härtere Böden keine Probleme bereiten. Der ergonomisch geformte Griff ist äußerst leicht und aus einem speziellen Material gefertigt, welches niedriges Gewicht und hohe Stabilität miteinander kombiniert. Mit der Solid Gartenkralle bietet Fiskars ein Werkzeug um den Erdboden aufzulockern. Die stabilen Zinken der Solid Gartenkralle sind aus stabilen Polyamid und Fiberglas gefertigt und widerstehen Temperaturen von -40° bis + 150° C und sind komplett recycelbar. Sie sind widerstandsfähig und leicht zu reinigen. Die abgerundeten Kanten schonen die Wurzeln, können aber auch bei Bedarf geschärft werden. Durch das Aufhängeloch in der Mitte des Handgriffs, lassen sich beide Werkzeuge einfach und sicher aufhängen und damit verstauen.
