The SIMPLEX splitting hammer from Halder combines two tools in one - a splitting hammer and a soft-face mallet in absolute professional quality and therefore offers considerable cost savings compared to buying them separately. The high product quality is certified by the Board of Trustees for Forestry Work and Technology (KWF). The splitting insert, forged from high-quality carbon steel, ensures an extremely good splitting effect thanks to its reversible nose. This is additionally supported by a total weight of 4,100 g and a high top-heaviness. The superplastic insert with D60mm is a medium-hard plastic insert made of extruded - extremely homogeneous material. Compared to injection-moulded plastic inserts, it is therefore much more wear-resistant and durable. By using this protective side for wedge work, the risk of injury from metal splinters is completely avoided - plastic and aluminium wedges have a much longer service life. The malleable cast iron housing has an integrated handle protection sleeve - which ensures a high level of break resistance. The long-fibre - very sturdy hickory handle is lacquered and ergonomically shaped. The leather cutting guard protects against injuries during transport. In accordance with the clever SIMPLEX principle, all components are interchangeable and can be retrofitted. This not only saves money - but also resources.
