Der Schlagbohrschrauber ist zwar mit einem Bürsten-Motor ausgestattet (Kohlebürsten sind DAS Verbrauchsteil Nummer Eins im Motor), aber dafür bekommt man für sein Geld viel Leistung. 63 Newtonmeter Drehmoment, ein 13mm Schnellspannbohrfutter, eine LED-Beleuchtung gepaart mit einem 2-Gang-Planetengetriebe sind für die meisten Anwendungen vollkommen ausreichend. Klar, Vollprofis, die viele Aufgaben mit hohen Belastungen ausführen und den Schrauber den ganzen Tag belasten, sollten zu anderen Qualitätsklassen greifen und auf Brushless-Motor setzen.     Der Makita DHP 482 Schlagbohrschrauber mit 2-Gang-Vollmetall-Planetengetriebe und Metallzahnrädern verfügt über einen kraftvollen, 4-poligen Gleichstrommotor. Außerdem hat dieser Schlagbohrschrauber eine 21-fache Drehmomenteinstellung plus extra Bohrstufe und eine Schlagfunktion. Die XPT (eXtreme Protection Technology) schützt die Maschine vor Staub und Spritzwasser, was die Lebensdauer des Schraubers merklich erhöht. Zusätzlich überzeugt der DHP 482 durch sein integriertes LED-Licht zum Ausleuchten der Arbeitsstelle, der elektronischen Motorbremse und dem 13 mm Schnellspannbohrfutter. Der Schlagbohrschrauber wird in einem praktischen Makita Makpac 2 incl. Schaumstoffeinlage und einem 100-teiligen Bit und Bohrer Set geliefert. Mit insgesamt 50 Bits in 4 verschiedenen Aufnahmen, einer Reihe an Bohrern, Steckschlüsseln, Lochsägen und einigen Spezialteilen findet man im P 90249 immer das richtige Zubehörteil.
