It is also suitable for normal drilling in wood, metal, ceramic and plastic. The tool has a brushless motor, which has a significantly positive effect on the tool's service life and endurance. Makita has also installed its Xtreme Protect Technology ( XPT ), which guarantees optimum protection against dust and splash water. This makes the drill extremely resistant and durable. The anti-vibration technology ( AVT ) ensures a high level of comfort and counteracts signs of fatigue caused by vibrations. In addition, a powerful LED with afterglow function is installed in the device, which optimally illuminates the work area. The built-in constant electronics protect against overloading, ensuring that the speed is kept at the same level throughout the working time. The built-in motor brake ensures that the tool decelerates quickly to avoid unnecessarily long motor overruns. With the Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS), a hoover can be operated at the same time thanks to a Bluetooth connection, which also stops automatically after a run-on time.
