The Makita DUC 256 cordless chainsaw impresses with its power of 36 volts (2x 18 volts connected in series) and the powerful brushless motor. A very high chain speed and the compact design make the DUC 256 a must-have for connoisseurs. With a chain speed of 20 m/s, this cordless chainsaw is very powerful. Thanks to the automatic chain lubrication, there is no need for tedious manual lubrication. Furthermore, the chain and motor brake offers maximum protection for the user. The built-in XPT technology ensures reliable protection against splash water and dust. Thanks to the variable speed control via the trigger mechanism, it is possible to work in a material- and user-friendly manner. The chainsaw also has an oil level indicator and a hook. Thanks to the metal hook on the saw, it is possible to grip the workpiece, providing more control and making work easier. A captive nut holds the guide bar and saw chain in place and can only be released using the installation spanner. The cordless chainsaw has a torque boost mode, allowing the current limit to be temporarily increased and thicker branches to be cut with ease.
