Die Makita DX05 eignet sich ideal für eine effektive Staubabsaugung beim Bohren in trockenen Materialien insbesondere dort, wo es auf eine saubere Arbeitsumgebung ankommt. Es müssen weder Kabel noch Schlauch mitgeführt werden. Gerade bei Über-Kopf-Arbeiten ein entscheidender Vorteil hinsichtlich Gewicht und Handhabung. Die Staubabsaugung wird rein mechanisch mithilfe der Maschinenlüftung des Kombihammers DHR182 betrieben. Dafür gibt es unterhalb der Maschine eine klappe, die geöffnet werden muss, um so einen Unterdruck zu erzeugen, der dann zum absaugen genutzt wird. Eine Doppelverriegelung verhindert das unbeabsichtigte Lösen vom Bohrhammer. Die Größe des Staubbehälters ermöglicht eine längere Betriebszeit zwischen den Reinigungsvorgängen. Der Staubbehälter ist transparent und ermöglicht somit die schnelle Kontrolle des Füllstandes. Die Staubabsaugung ist mit einem HEPA-Filter ausgestattet. Bei nachlassender Saugkraft, kann durch die Nutzung der Reinigungsvorrichtung der Staub vom Filter entfernt werden, ohne das ein Abnehmen der Staubbox notwendig ist. Die Staubbox ist leicht abnehmbar und sorgt damit für eine schnelle und einfache Staubentsorgung. Der Tiefenbegrenzer dient der genauen Tiefeneinstellung von Bohrlöchern.
