The Makita MR009G cordless radio combines a robust construction site radio with a versatile cordless lantern. It receives both FM/AM and DAB+ stations and can be connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth. Four selectable modes provide the light: a 360° and 270° lantern function, a torch with a focussed light beam and a strobe mode. The colour temperature of the light can also be adjusted in three stages. An integrated USB socket enables mobile devices to be charged. The device is dust and water resistant to IP65 and has a battery charge level indicator. It is supplied with a shoulder strap that has a hook for hanging. In addition, up to nine radio stations can be programmed and stored.
