The very powerful STA 18 LTX 140 cordless jigsaw from Metabo impresses at every level. The device features a 140mm cutting depth in wood, a 35mm cutting depth in non-ferrous metals and a 10mm cutting depth in sheet steel. It is easy to handle and equipped with a soft grip surface that allows the professionnals to work for long without feeling tired. This tool also features a precise and material-matched sawing owing to its variable stroke rate, its pendulum stroke and its low-lying saw blade guidance with spring support. Its is equipped with the Metabo Quick function which guarantees a tool-free saw blade change. This jigsaw from Metabo features a convenient automatic start-up function with automatic stroke rate acceleration which ensures an easy start for the device. Its selectable shaving blower function and its built-in LED light ensure an unobstructed view of the workpiece. Furthermore, its footplate with rest points adjusted without tools allows simple bevel cuts. The Vario-Tacho-Constamatic (VTC) Full Wave Electronics system of this device ensures a perfect work with materials requiring customised stroke rates, which remain constantly under load. A long service life is then guaranteed owing to its optimum gear, its motor design and its robust die-cast aluminium gear housing.
