Additionally, POWERSTATE™ brushless motors are noise-reduced and cool down faster to deliver years of maintenance-free performance. The brushless motor offers maximum efficiency with minimum wear. A combination of advanced hardware and software - the REDLINK PLUS™ electronics enable improved system communication between battery and tool, delivering extremely powerful performance and therefore more productivity. Furthermore, these electronics offer advanced digital overload protection for the machine and battery and maintain constant power under load. Individual cell monitoring ensures a long battery runtime and service life. The 4-way pendulum stroke adjustment and the neutral position ensure high cutting performance. The tool-free adjustment of the base plate enables mitre cuts from 0° to 45°. A chip blowing device ensures a clear view of the cut. In addition, the jigsaw's LED lighting ensures optimum illumination of the work area. The tool has a plastic glide sole to protect the material surface. DRIVEN TO OUTPERFORM, M18 FUEL™ offers the best complete system technology that powers cordless tools. The jigsaw blade's sharp and aggressive teeth are ideal for fast cuts in wood.
