Die FS 131 Motorsense von Stihl überzeugt durch eine sehr leichte und kompakte Bauweise, wodurch sie äußerst vielseitig einsetzbar ist. Besonders gut für Flächenarbeiten in zähem Gras geeignet, bringt es der Motor auf eine Leistung von 1,4 kW. Der 4-Mix-Motor sorgt nicht nur für gleichbleibend starke Leistung, sondern spart dazu noch merklich Kraftstoff und der Abgasausstoß kann so bis zu 70% gesenkt werden. Mit dem Doppelschultergurt, dem Multifunktionsgriff und dem ergonomischen Zweihandgriff, dem Mählenker, liegt die Sense immer bestens in der Hand und eignet sich optimal für lange Einsätze. Hierzu trägt auch der vergrößerte Tank und der Luftfilter mit hoher Standzeit bei, was die FS 89 sehr wartungsarm macht. Außerdem ist die Sense mit einer Antivibrationsmechanik ausgestattet, was die Gelenke schont.
