Durch spezielle Elektronik verfügt der DCB 546 über einen wirkungsvollen Schutz vor Überlastung, Überhitzung und Tiefenentladung. Durch die robuste und bruchsichere Bauweise und der stoßsicheren verlöteten Akku-Zellen, ist der DCB 546 optimal für den harten Baustellen-Einsatz geeignet. Weiterhin verfügt der DCB 546 über eine Ladezustandsanzeige mit 3 LEDs und dank der 6,0 Ah-Kapazität über einer hohen Laufzeit. Der FlexVolt 54 V Akku besitzt kein Memory-Effekt und keine Selbstentladung. Passend für alle DeWalt XR Akku-Maschinen mit 54,0 Volt sowie mit 18,0 Volt (außer Bandsäge DCS 371 sowie Radios DCR 016, 017 und Tough-Radio).
