Dank dem 18 Volt Akku Langhalsschleifer können Schleifarbeiten kabelfrei an jedem Ort problemlos durchgeführt werden. Selbst das unbeliebte Überkopfarbeiten ist mit dem DSL 800 ein Kinderspiel und deutlich komfortabler als mit Netzgeräten. Der stufenlos einstellbare Teleskopschaft ist von 1100 - 1520 mm ausziehbar. Durch das AWS Auto Start Wireless System wird der Staubsauger mit der Maschine verbunden und startet bei Benutzung automatisch. Die Konstantelektronik und der Sanftanlauf sowie der Bürstenlose Motor gewährleisten maximale Benutzerfreundlichkeit und eine lange Lebensdauer. Die elektronisch regelbare Drehzahl bietet je nach Werkstoff die richtige Einstellung und somit den bestmöglichen Abtrag. Der DSL 800 besitzt die Xtreme Protection Technology ( XPT ), das bedeutet das auch unter harten Bedingugen ein optimaler Schutz gegenüber Staub und Spritzwasser gewährleistet wird.
